640 Veterans is a residential development in Redwood City.

 

The project consists of two buildings.   The design of each building includes two levels of parking with a post-tensioned podium slab supporting four stories of wood-frame structure above.  The podium level includes a plaza, a pool and extensive amenities.  The total garage area is approximately 175,000 SF with 447 parking stalls.  The podium area is approximately 110,000 SF supporting 264 residential units.

 

The structural system is composed of concrete post-tensioned slabs with concrete shear walls supported on a concrete mat foundation.
