Description:

The Epic project is a mixed-use development on River Oaks Parkway near Interstate 880 in San Jose.  This project consists of three separate structures with residential units over retail and parking with street level open and amenity and spaces between them.

All three buildings are two-story podium structures supporting four- story wood frame superstructures and courtyards with extensive landscaping in addition to a podium level pool and spa.

The combined podium area is over 300,000 SF supporting 761 residential units with parking, residential, and retail spaces at street level and basement parking. 

 

The structural systems used for these buildings include post-tensioned concrete elevated slabs and a concrete shear wall system all supported on mat foundations.
