Description:

Equity Potrero is a mixed-use development at the base of Potrero Hill in San Francisco.  Two separate structures with residential units over retail and flex spaces with a one acre park between them make for an amenity-rich new community in the Potrero area.

Each of the two single story podium structures support five story wood frame structures and courtyards with extensive landscaping.

Total podium area is over 120,000 SF supporting 453 residential units with parking and retail spaces at grade level.  Parking is maximized using car stackers in the garage space.  Board formed concrete for select walls and columns was implement to achieve the intended architectural aesthetic.

 

The structural systems for the building are concrete post-tensioned slabs at podium level, reinforced concrete slabs at grade, and concrete shear walls all supported on a steel pile foundation system.
