As the Demolition Engineer of Records, FBA assisted Silverado’s implosion subcontractor Dykon with selective structural removal of gravity and lateral supports as part of structural weakening and controlled implosion process.

 

By reviewing and studying the structural as-built plans and site observation, FBA’s engineers provided detailed plans to sever or partially sever noncritical gravity and lateral structural elements, hence reducing the amount of explosive material used for the implosion.
