Description:

Rotary Terrace is an affordable senior housing residential development located in South San Francisco, CA.  The project consists of three and four story wood framed structures housing 81 units supported by a concrete post-tensioned podium with at-grade parking and 6500 SF of retail space.   FBA is the concrete structural engineer  for the project.  The podium footprint was approximately 24,500 square feet.

Structural system for the building is concrete post-tensioned slabs with concrete shear walls supported on spread / strip footings.
