Santana Row Best Buy is located in an outdoor shopping mall in San Jose, California and is part of a 42-acre retail and residential “village within a city”, developed by Federal Realty of Rockville, Maryland.

 

FBA designed the entire two level concrete frame, exterior cladding details, and tenant improvements.  The building footprint is almost 30,500 square feet. 

 

The structural system for the project is post-tensioned concrete slabs with concrete columns and shearwalls supported on spread / strip footings.
