Description:

The Julian is a multi-family residential development located near San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose, CA.  The project consists of five-story wood framed structures housing 408 units, courtyard m pool and amenities supported by a concrete post-tensioned podium with two levels of parking, one of which is subterranean. FBA is the concrete structural engineer  for the project.  The podium footprint was approximately 93,600 square feet.

Structural system for the building is concrete post-tensioned slabs with concrete shear walls supported on a mat slab foundation.
